Not that house

Hydra | Sep 29, 2020 | Comments: 1

I remember when we came to Hydra in the 80's, often sitting in the port in the evening, drinking an ouzo or a beer at The Sailing Café. This was our view. Funny, for a while we thought that one of the white houses up there was Leonard Cohen's, because a friend of ours had said that his house was in that area and it was white and overgrown by bourgainvillea. Haha, how many houses did fit that description?

This painting is from 2018 and I call it "Leonard Cohen doesn't live there".

It's watercolor and pen and the size is 18 x 25 cm (7 x 10").
This is still available.

Henry,
Check out the film "The Girl in Black" filmed in Hydra in the 1950s.
